"Waaay up, I feel blessed" - Edgar's thoughts during the High Air contest. BMX riders tore it up today! #VANSUSOPEN pic.twitter.com/faIeAtsNDc
The 2014 Van Doren Invitational brought an awesome group of talent to the stage. Early action found Dennis Enarson qualifying first but he was subsequently injured and unable to compete in the final. Southern California resident Larry Edgar was knocking on the door to be invited to this event. Larry got his chance and he didn’t let anyone down. He went big, really big. The spine was pretty small and he went the highest. At Sunday’s Final, a capacity crowd saw Gary Young take the win, with Chase Hawk in 2nd and Jason Watts in 3rd.
Southern Californian Larry Edgar going big!
