Surfline Forecast

Brief Overview

We’ll see a slight bump in surf through Sunday as a mix of long period SW-SSW and SSE-S Southern Hemi swells fill in, as well as some local NW windswell blending in.

SUNDAY 5th

2-3’+ occ. 4’ faces. Light/variable trending S AM wind.
Swell/Surf: Modest NW windswell continues as both SW and SSE swells slowly build through the day.
Wind/Weather: Light/variable wind early trends S through the morning, then light+ W-WSW flow 6-10kts in the afternoon. Patchy fog possible in the morning.

Swell/Surf Analysis

We’re seeing long period energy from both the new SW and SSE Southern Hemi swells on offshore buoys today (1-1.5’ zone). Expect this energy to continue to slowly build through Sunday, as small local NW windswell blends in. We expect to see waist/stomach high surf on Sunday, with occasional chest/shoulder high sets as the swells cross up into fun little peaks.

For Sunday we expect to see a light/variable wind in the earlier morning, trending S-SW through the morning hours then swinging W for the afternoon 5-10kts (lighter earlier, a bit stronger later). Patchy fog is possible in the earlier morning.
