Carrying on the tradition of major competitive surfing at Huntington Beach since 1959, the Vans US Open of Surfing has evolved into one of the largest action sports festivals in the country. This year the event will showcase the world’s best surfing alongside an unparalleled entertainment experience that includes curated retail spaces, world-class skateboard and BMX competitions, and the Van Doren Village featuring art exhibitions and hands-on creative workshops for attendees.

Transportation/Shuttle Information:

Weekend 1: July 29-30 (Saturday/Sunday)

Weekend 2: August 5-6 (Saturday/Sunday)

Complimentary shuttles will run every half hour. Last shuttle leaves downtown at 6:30 p.m.

Regular Surf City USA Shuttle weekend service will also be running on these dates. Please note, live GPS tracking will only be available for regular weekend service shuttles.

DOWNTOWN PARKING

Main Promenade Parking Structure

This 830-space parking and retail structure is located on the east side of Main Street between Walnut and Olive Streets. Validations are available at participating downtown merchants. Holiday and special event rates are effective May 1 through Labor Day each year. Parking after 9:00 pm is $5.00 flat rate and no validations are accepted. Parking rates listed below:

Strand Parking Structure

Located at 155 Fifth Street with entrance off of Sixth Street. Operating hours are from 9am - midnight. For further information, phone LAZ Parking at (714) 536-4600. The Municipal Beach/Main Promenade Parking Structure parking pass is Not Accepted at the Strand Parking Structure.

Pacific City Parking 

Two levels of garage self parking may be accessed from Pacific View Avenue, between 1st Street & Huntington Street. 21010 Pacific Coast Highway, Huntington Beach, CA 92648

$2.00 for every 20 minutes
$35.00 max at 6th hour
Monday- Sunday, the first two (2) hours are complimentary (with a validation from participating merchants).
NO OVERNIGHT PARKING, violators will be towed at the owners expense

Pierside Pavillion Parking

Pierside Pavilion parking garage in Huntington Beach near the bustling Main Street shopping and dining area is contained in a commercial building with restaurants, shops, offices and an elevator. There is one entrance to the car park area of the building on Walnut near Main Street.

July 23rd - July 24th: $25 all day
Weekly Rate: $20 all day | $1.25 per 15 mins
July 30th - July 31st: $35 all day
Complimentary valet services will be provided on the weekends.

Metered Parking Rate is $1.50 per hour, 2 hour max in Downtown Business Area;  Enforcement Hours are 6am - Midnight
