Celebrating the evolution of a surf legacy, the Vans Joel Tudor Duct Tape Festival upholds it’s mission to bring together an international collective of people inspired by surﬁng, to honor progression and creativity in surf culture by engaging communities around the world that thrive by sea.
For the ﬁrst time ever, The Vans Joel Tudor Duct Tape Festival comes to Surf City, Huntington beach CA as part of the Vans US Open of Surfing. The Duct Tape Festival will welcome four internationally renowned surfers to present a library of their own hand-shaped custom surfboards to share with the public which will live permanently at local surf shop, JACK’S.
This year’s Duct Tape shapers are Vans surfers: Dane Reynolds, Leila Hurst, Tosh Tudor and Vans skateboarder Austin Kanfoush
In support of a inclusive surf environment, fans and spectators are encouraged to join the competitors and featured shapers to surf the 8 hand shaped boards which will be on display all week, allowing anyone and everyone to rent hourly.
